Country Availability & Payments
1. Can I join 3Hats from my country?
In many countries, yes. You may be able to create an account, browse art, follow artists, and participate in the community.
2. Why can I join but not sell?
Selling, payouts, subscriptions, or purchases may only be available in countries supported by our payment providers and where we can legally operate those services.
3. Which countries can sell on 3Hats?
Selling and payouts on 3Hats are only available in countries and regions supported by our approved payment providers, such as Stripe, PayPal, or any other provider we may use in future. Availability also depends on local laws, account verification, sanctions checks, currency support, provider approval, and 3Hats’ own operational requirements.
Stripe is currently supported in the following countries/regions:
Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and United States.
Stripe also lists Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa through its extended network, and India and Indonesia as preview regions. These may require additional confirmation before full 3Hats marketplace selling or payouts are available.
PayPal Payouts is currently listed as available in the following countries/regions:
Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Bahrain, Belgium, Bermuda, Botswana, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Cayman Islands, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Greenland, Guatemala, Honduras, Hong Kong SAR China, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kuwait, Latvia, Lesotho, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mauritius, Mexico, Moldova, Monaco, Morocco, Mozambique, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Oman, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Réunion, Romania, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay, Venezuela, and Vietnam.
PayPal has different levels of payout availability. Some countries may allow users to receive and withdraw money but may not support all merchant or payout features. PayPal Payouts may also require approval before it can be used.
A country being listed by Stripe or PayPal does not guarantee that every user in that country can sell or receive payouts. Payment providers may still reject, limit, delay, freeze, or require verification for an account or transaction.
3A. What if my country is not listed?
You may still be able to create an account, browse artwork, upload artwork, follow artists, and use community features. However, selling, paid downloads, commissions, subscriptions, purchases, withdrawals, and payouts may be unavailable until your country is supported by our payment providers and approved by 3Hats.
4. Why are payouts unavailable in my country?
Payouts may be unavailable because your country, region, currency, bank account, payment method, or account type is not supported by our payment providers. Payouts may also be restricted because of sanctions, identity verification requirements, fraud controls, banking limitations, regulatory issues, or technical limitations.
5. Can I still post my art if payouts are unavailable?
Often yes. In some regions, users may still be able to create profiles, upload art, and grow an audience even if selling features are unavailable.
6. Why can’t I buy artwork, paid downloads, commissions, or subscriptions?
Purchases may be limited in some countries or regions because of payment provider rules, app store rules, card network restrictions, fraud prevention systems, sanctions, currency limitations, or legal requirements. Some users may be able to browse and upload content but may not be able to buy, sell, subscribe, or receive payouts.
6A. Does PayPal being available in my country mean I can sell on 3Hats?
Not always. PayPal has different levels of availability depending on the country. Some countries may allow users to receive or withdraw money, while others may not support full payout or merchant features. PayPal Payouts also requires approval before it can be used.
7. Why did access change in my country?
Country availability can change due to updates from payment providers, local laws, sanctions, security reviews, or business operations.
8. Do you block specific countries?
We may limit, restrict, suspend, or disable certain features in some countries or regions where required or reasonably necessary. This may include restrictions on selling, buying, paid downloads, commissions, subscriptions, withdrawals, payouts, messaging, or account access. Restrictions may be based on local laws, sanctions, payment provider requirements, app store rules, fraud controls, security risks, or operational reasons.
9. I’m travelling overseas. Will my account still work?
Usually yes, but some features may vary depending on your current location, payment method, and local restrictions.
10. How can I request access for my country?
Contact us at support@3hats.io and let us know your country. We review demand as we grow.
11. Do you plan to expand globally?
Yes. Our goal is to grow 3Hats internationally where practical and compliant.

Important note about payment availability
Payment availability is controlled partly by third-party providers such as Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, app store payment systems, banks, card processors, or other providers we may use in future. Supported countries, currencies, fees, payout rules, verification requirements, and account eligibility may change at any time. 3Hats may update, restrict, suspend, or remove payment features where required by law, provider rules, sanctions, fraud controls, or operational requirements.
